sunny days.

It’s spring break in these parts, which doesn’t mean much to us since it’s always spring here and John has to work just the same this week as a normal week.  We thought we’d meet up on campus today for a fancy lunch in the family dining hall to help it feel like a little vacation, which sounds lovely accept I didn’t realize how hard it would be for me to walk “so far” to get there.  It wasn’t far at all, but my pregnant dogs were barking.  Turns out the dining hall was closed because it was spring break!  So we made the trek back to the casa but not before enjoying some of the sun while we were out and about.  Our plans may not have worked out, but in a way they did.  The weather here is something I could get used to, lemme tell you.  Plus it didn’t hurt that I knew I had a whole tupperware of leftover Shepherds Pie waiting for  me at home that I could have for lunch instead.  We missed Dad for lunch, though.  And I’m sorry, Honey, but I ate all the leftover Shepherds Pie……
