Easy Caprese Pizza with Balsamic glaze

I don’t profess to be a food photographer, but there have been a few inquiries regarding our favorite homemade pizza that I posted about on instagram over the weekend and I thought I might as well share the recipe with you all here.  This is our very favorite pizza.  It’s so easy to make but so fancy, too!
What you need:
your favorite pizza dough
your favorite pizza sauce
3 roma tomatoes, sliced
2 cups spinach leafs
1 ball fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced thinly
a little corn meal for the pizza stone
for glaze:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 clove garlic, grated to a paste
Preheat the oven to the temp indicated on the pizza dough (usually 425 ish).  Sprinkle the corn meal on the pizza stone so the dough doesn’t stick to it while baking.  Roll out the dough to about the size of the pizza stone and place it on the stone.  Bake the crust for about 5-8 minutes. Take out and spread as much pizza sauce as you prefer on the crust.  Next, put as much spinach as you like all over.  Then the tomato slices, then the cheese slices.  Bake the pizza according to the dough directions.  While the pizza bakes, combine all glaze ingredients in a blender and mix for about 1 minute.  Once the pizza is done, drizzle the glaze all over, as much as you like, and then use however much as a dip on the side, too.  Serves great with a fancy soup and salad!
