A portrait of each of our children, each week of the year 2014.
Well, I thought it couldn’t get worse than the week before last, but I was wrong.  The babies were sick all week, which wasn’t the hard part.  My babies are model sickies.  They cuddle and play and then sleep a lot.  The hard part was that I was stuck in a basement apartment for almost 10 days straight.  Turns out no one wants your kids around them when they are infested with “germy bugs” as James calls them.  So I have been sinking into a darker and darker adult-absent space and I still haven’t quite recovered, even though the children have.  Needless to say, it felt amazing to get ready and go to church today!
The weather is getting a tad warmer and we are itching to get outside more regularly.  We went on a walk the other day and Jameser said, “We’re like pirates!”  I asked why and he said, “because we’re treasuring!”  I guess collecting rocks is “treasuring.”  Charlie’s sleep schedule is all messed up now and we are trying to get that normalized again.  He was a pretty great sleeper up until he got sick, no he’s up three to four times a night.  Suffice it to say I am in a lot of pain.
THIS week is a new week.
