There’s something so magical about the first snowfall of the season, even if you’re not crazy about winter. Personally, if I’m prepared, I LOVE winter. And of course I can’t help but appreciate the joy it brings my sweet sonshine. He was dancing around in the floating flakes this morning on our way to church like nobody was watching. I’m a little anxious thinking about what bugs might accompany this change of season, what with a newborn and all, but I jut can’t let the fear rule my life. I cannot stay cooped up in a (darling) little basement apartment all winter long and not expect to go stir crazy with some not-so-ideal-mothering side effects resulting. So we’ll be going out. Of course we’ll be taking as many precautions as possible to all stay healthy, but avoiding people all together will not be one of them. For my own mental health, it just can’t be.
November is my favorite month. The past few years I’ve done daily gratitude posts, but this year I’m going to be doing that through my instagram feed instead of on here. Feel free to follow along if you’d like and tag your gratitude posts #gratefulwifeofjw. I’d love to see what you’re grateful for!
Have a wonderful Sunday. Go snuggle your loved ones on this cold day.
And here is a yummy recipe (goes great with this yummy recipe) for you to enjoy and to warm up your chilly bones.
Sabbath inspiration here.
