Busy Bubbers: emotion flash cards

So I’ve decided that I’m going to start sharing some of the joy school/toddler activities that I do with Jameser here on the blog in a series called “Busy Bubbers.” Today’s activity comes to you via free printables that I whipped up for you all!  James and I have been learning about emotions lately and I made him these flash cards (gotta love bed rest!).  He loves them!  Mainly I think he just loves that he’s learning something new.  He gets so excited when he sees the “happy” card and every time he sees the “sad” card he gives it kisses and hugs (I die!).  It’s so fun seeing his brain come to life with knowledge and ways to actually communicate effectively.  This stage is so so so so much fun!
You’ll want to right click and save each image to your computer, then put them in a word document to print.  I’ve sized them to fit an 8.5 by 11 page, but you might need to do a little resizing to fit it they way you want it to.  I would print them on card stock if you have it, and you can then color and/or laminate them if you want (I love contact paper!!!).  Then just cut right outside the black borders of each flash card and you’re good to go!  There are 18 cards in all, five pages total:
