June 12th was a special day at our house. It marked 6 years from when sweet James passed away. Baby James and I took lunch to Daddy at work, just so we could all be together, then we went to the grave after JW got home.

Summer is in full swing and we are giddy as school kids in these here parts! And the countdown is on for Sun Valley and Bear Lake!!!!!

I am spending a lot of time with my brother Jake lately. I love him so much and am so grateful we’ve had an opportunity to bond the way we have the past few weeks. Words cannot describe how happy we are to have him home!!
John sent me an email from work the other day. Evidently he had just pranked a co-worker. The email topic was “Mwa Ha Ha Ha….” and it read: “My co-workers have been bamboozled! Now I sit back and wait for the trap to spring!”
I love my husband’s innocent sense of humor.

To the fathers in my life–THANK YOU.
Happy Fathers’ Day!!

|Grandpa John, my maternal grandfather. Miss you so much!|

And of course a special little tribute space to the father I’m most grateful for:
Never was there a more qualified man to be a good father. From the examples of fathers in your life to your own dedication to The Father, you have such unique recourses to fuel your own passion to parent, and I am so honored to be by your side through this sacred adventure. Thank you for all you are and for all you give. We love you so much!!
I’m going to try really hard to get re-motivated to blog again….I have been having a rough time in the emotional department lately and am finally feeling a wee better, so here’s to a new week!! Ca-chaw!!!
