Giving Thanks, part 17: Personal Revelation

Today I am grateful for personal revelation.  I have received more within the past month than I have in the six months previously.  I have been focusing a lot of my prayers on asking for personal revelation that will help me be a better mother for James.  I have noticed, though, that a lot of the personal revelation I have received doesn’t have to do with James directly, but it regards my own spiritual progression in a way that will help me be able to teach him and love him and care for him better.  So we both win.  It’s amazing how the Lord has qualified me to be James’ mother.  It is such a sacred calling and I couldn’t do it without my Savior.  But having said that, I think it’s going pretty darn well.
