Giving Thanks, part 8: Rain

Today I am grateful for the rain.
I love the rain, ever since serving a mission in Ireland.  I woke up at 6:00am to the tapping of raindrops on my window and loved the way it made me feel.  I asked John if he wanted to go walk around Sugarhouse Park in the rain at 6:00 in the morning, and he loved the idea.  It was so much fun being with my boyfriend in the rain in the wee hours of the morn, our arms linked, just walking and talking and splashing in puddles in our p.j.’s.  I love the change of weather.  It is crisp and refreshing and exciting.  And I get to sport my awesome winter wardrobe!

LOVE this! i’ echo this gratitude statement! and these early morning walks are some of my favorite memories with Jay. Whle I was pregnant and couldn’t sleep we did this around 5AM in our jammies and watched the sunrise. So much fun!

oooh how romantic!! If only Robbie or I were a morning person… or even an afternoon person… 🙂 You are an inspiration though, I think I should buy a new coat to get me pumped for the cold weather.
